As the image above illustrates, for every person that joins one of the Reward Websites like Kudos or Freebie Jeebies and completes an offer, the Reward Website receives a fee from the company. This company could be Lovefilm, HSBC, Coral, etc. This fee is for directing a customer towards that company.
Now I am not aware of how much this fee is, but for argument's sake let's say it is £30. After you have done one offer youself and referred 8 people to do the same, the Reward network would have received £270 (9 x £30). The Reward Websites then buy you a Nintendo Wii and keep the profit. Meanwhile the company receives 9 potential new customers. Everybody wins.
This is known as a web based marketing technique called Affiliate Marketing.
